What is a Microsoft Account
A Microsoft Account is a combination of mail address and password with which you can access Windows. It's free and easy to configure, you can choose the mail address you prefer or get a new one. For example, you can use an Outlook.com, Gmail or Yahoo! address for your Microsoft account.
